The Fresh Roots "TM" Youth Empowerment Program was inspired by many urban stories of transformation, second chances, and what happens when a young person is given the opportunity to thrive in a nurturing environment. We have research studies and personal experience confirming that when a child is removed from a violent, unstable neighborhood and placed into a community that will allow them the opportunity to nurture his or her growth, the most vulnerable youth with the same kind of safe space, mentorship, and meaningful opportunities.
